The Saturday evening FF@ traditional potluck is on, some say because I like to eat but do not cook well. Not being one who exaggerates ...well, not much anyway...the truth be told Saturday evening is one time when I’ll get a really good meal so I always like the idea for including the traditional pot luck dinner.
The Welcoming activities will include our annual raffle after the meal and maybe awards for impromptu feats of piscatorial prowess up to the time of the festivities. If the latter does not happen, then at least we’ll have fun talking about it.
The dinner will begin around 7:00PM but all are welcome to gather around Buddy and Gary’s campsite at any time. The annual Clave raffle will take place shortly after the eating finishes and before the serious drinking continues or in some rare cases, commences. (Note: We do ask that your raffle gift have a minimum value of $10.00 even if a re-gift!) Please see Buddy prior to the Saturday Night activities to receive your raffle tickets. Remember one ticket is issued for each raffle gift provided which means the more you give, the more you’ll take away.
The evening is historically an informal gathering of all attendees and an opportunity to put a name with a face that that you may have communicated with over the Internet or haven't seen in a while. Don't be shy, step up, and introduce yourself, your friends, or your family members. FF@ is all one big happy group. |
